This Privacy Policy explains what information Biz Mindset ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you visit bizmindset.blog (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Information we collect
We collect information in two ways: information you choose to give us directly, and information collected automatically as you browse the Site.
Information you provide directly
We collect information you submit voluntarily through forms on the Site, described in detail in the "Contact form" and "Email newsletter" sections below. In short, this may include your name, email address, and any message you choose to send us.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, approximate location (derived from your IP address), browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent on the Site, referring website, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this through Google Analytics and through cookies, both described below.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site — for example, which articles are popular, how people navigate between pages, and which topics resonate. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, and referring website, and stores this using cookies placed in your browser.
Google acts as an independent data processor for this data under its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. You can prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Contact form
If you use the contact form on this Site, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry — we don't add contact-form submissions to any marketing list.
Contact form submissions are processed through Web3Forms, a third-party form-handling service, which delivers your message to our inbox. We retain contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to address your inquiry and for our own record-keeping, and delete them when no longer needed.
Third-party advertising
This Site may display ads served by Google AdSense and other third-party advertising networks. These vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other websites, and to measure how those ads perform.
Opting out. You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). You can opt out of personalized advertising from many other providers through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) or the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org). If you're in Australia or New Zealand, YourAdChoices (youradchoices.com.au) offers a similar opt-out tool for participating advertisers.

Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy — for example, newsletter subscriber emails for as long as you remain subscribed, and contact form submissions for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for our records. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' own data retention settings.
Your privacy rights
European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR)
If you're located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, to receive a copy of your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@bizmindset.blog. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
If you're a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of that information, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" (as those terms are defined under California law). We don't sell personal information for money. To exercise these rights, email hello@bizmindset.blog.
Australia and New Zealand
If you're in Australia, we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you're in New Zealand, we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020. In either case, you can ask us what information we hold about you and request that it be corrected or deleted by emailing hello@bizmindset.blog.
Children's privacy
This Site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@bizmindset.blog and we'll delete it.
Do Not Track signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There's currently no industry-standard way to respond to these signals, so our Site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we rely on reputable, well-established service providers for hosting, forms, and email delivery. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, though, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
International data transfers
Our service providers may process and store information in countries other than the one you're located in, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses — to protect information transferred internationally.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to give you additional notice.
